We have some big news for all of you regarding our two most recent titles: Pentiment and Grounded! Long story short, expect both titles on additional platforms, with Pentiment releasing as early as tomorrow, February 22nd, so let's jump into the details!

Pentiment Announcement Summary

  • Pentiment will be digitally released on February 22nd for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
  • Pre-orders for physical copies are available for a limited time for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch as of February 22nd and through March 22nd thanks to our friends at Limited Run Games. WISHLIST NOW

About the Game

Step into a living illustrated world inspired by illuminated manuscripts and printed woodcuts in a time when Europe is at a crossroads of great religious and political change. Grounded Announcement Summary

  • Grounded will be digitally released on April 16th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
  • Grounded will also release it’s 1.4 update simultaneously as the new platforms are released. So players all over the backyard will be able to experience all the same content, together!

About the Game

20 Million Players and Cross-Play


Get ready to join over 20 million players this April! That's right, since launching in early access back in 2020, Grounded has seen over 20 million players visit the backyard, and soon, the backyard will be open to more players on PlayStation consoles and the Nintendo Switch on April 16th, complete with cross-play functionality. Join your friends in the backyard, regardless of their preferred platform.

Not only will the backyard be opening up to more players, but Grounded will also receive its 1.4 update as the backyard opens for all, meaning all players across all platforms can experience new content on April 16th! Stay tuned for more information about this awesome update coming later!

Playgrounds Mode

For those new to the backyard you’ll also be introduced to "Playgrounds Mode.” This mode features a suite of creative tools and building blocks that allows imaginations to run wild within the game. Players can design custom experiences like boss battle arenas, escape rooms with traps, entire new gameplay experiences from RPGs to old-school shooters, or even racecourses with power-ups and obstacles. Imagination is truly the only limit.

The mode includes over 300 world props, over 400 items such as equippables, resources, consumables, more than 100 harvestables, along with all the creatures in Grounded. Yes, including all of the bosses.

The backyard is about to get a lot bigger, and we can’t wait to have you all join us on April 16th!
